I'm practicing for a GD sometime in the near future and I feel I'm about ready to give it a try (not ready to win, but ready to try....). I've been working on NMM and smooth blending/highlights and high contrast lately, so please let me know how I did. If you've seen my favorite piece (still a WIP, check to the first post on my site, not on the front page anymore) of the Space Marine with the deep maroon cloak and the aqua armour, I think I'll need to paint up an entire squad of them (I'm planning to... ugh, lol, so much time) to even hope to place according to my painting buddies (who *far* outstrip me in skill, lol) but we'll see.
