sniperhavens
Does anyone know of a good dremmel tool for drilling out barrels and the bottom of those Scibor Torso's. Im looking for something affordable but effective. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233784-dremmel-tool/ Share on other sites
Watcher in the Dark
Dremmel tools run at RPMs that are far too high to effectively drill out bolters and such. That level of RPM leads to breakage and melting. I would suggest a pin-vise for those applications. templarboy
Definitely don't use a dremel for drilling out barrels. Your control will not be optimum. I only use my dremel on metal and to remove large amounts of plastic. Even then I have had the dremel get away from me and I have injured myself and torn up models. Chapter Master Ignis Domus
I just use a regular drill with the thinnest drillbit I own. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233784-dremmel-tool/#findComment-2815207 Share on other sites
Ironwulf
Does anyone know of a good dremmel tool for drilling out barrels and the bottom of those Scibor Torso's. Im looking for something affordable but effective. As has been mentioned before, drilling out barrels is probably best done with a pin vice ( a hand-drill, including small drill bits). As for a Dremel tool that is affordable but effective, I'd say take a trip to the local Lowe's/Home Depot/hardware store and do a bit of comparison shopping. Heck, even the Mart of Wal (Wal-Mart) carries a couple of different models, including replacement bits. It doesn't have to be anything special to get the job done.
