Speed painting a sisters of battle force

Been meaning to do this for a long time now (most of these minis have been sat in a box for the last year or so) and with the upcoming WD rule set getting closer and closer I've finally bit the bullet. I intend to have this army completed in the next few weeks (lets see how long the pledge lasts) so I’ll be going for a nice black and red scheme (no white on these ladies!!) as you can see from the pic there's a lot to get through, plus all my commission work as well, but I really need a change from painting marines ATM :-)

here’s todays update just before they take a nitromors bath :-)

and as I hate the midget canoness I've converted a female inquisitor (which was also a crap mini IMHO) not sure if im happy with it yet may go back and trim a bit more of the neck line

wow i didn't even know it was possible to be this organized with miniatures. bases, and then spray paint? MADNESS! wouldn't you rather just haphazardly assemble and paint things when you get around to it?

Also nice models, that cannoness could use some more converting though the head is a bit big.

gonna try and turn this into a business so need to get organised :-) (usually just as crap as everyone else when it come's to organisation)

here's a box full of backpacks they just need the black highlighting and the little screen and buttons painting, that will be done when there attached to the mini

You are demonstrating an unerringly efficient and organised approach to this. I therefore conclude you are not human.

Now, please stop so that I don't feel bad about the fact that you have painted more in the last THREE DAYS. (I just checked the age of this topic)

THREE FLIPPING DAYS. It would take me a good 2/3 weeks to do that!

I'm impressed you're getting all this done so quickly - it must be something to do with batch painting such a large number of models in one go. My batches usually are about ten percent the size of what you're doing! Bravo, brother.

So glad I stickied this thread. Makes me want to start busting it again on my stuff.

I think a little of the light brown or light green static grass on the bases would be a good idea. It's just one more little touch that adds a lot to the figures.

I like the bases too. Suprised you dont burn out painting this way. Thing with sisters i found is takes a while to paint all the smaller details on them, cant just airbrush like marines (mostly cause of the robes having such a large area). Will be watching! =)
