I'm working the bits that need a steady hand now ie painting all the armour black, also got a base coat on the hair and flesh of all the helmet-less mini's, also cleaned all the edges of the base's.

Still got the 20 helmet one's to do, will be happy if i can get them done by monday then can start with the highlighting and get some paint on the tanks

Knock it off, you're making lazy painters like me look really really bad.

Just kidding of course, very nice job. Also thanks for the nitromors tip, I'll have to pick up some up to clean off more terminators. What is the exact name of the paint remover you used?

its nitromors just dont even think about putting plastic in it as it melts plasic as soon as it touches it!! for use on metal minis only

1st squads done any thoughts anyone?

They look cracking, brother! There's a bit of a blob of wash on the back of the cloak on the middle sister (she has a mace) but besides that there's no quibbles from me. Love the teeny tiny green screens on the sister's backpacks, very nice. :D

for a blitz paint work, these look pretty damn good especially considering how frustrating they are to paint... just why I am selling my pretty much complete new army on the E that is Bay! hmm starting to have regrets about listing it after seeing this? maybe..

this is turning out to be a wang size competition with davey having annihilated my ego :D

I looked up nitromors online, looks like they have other products which will work on plastics. I'll head to home depot over the weekend to look around. Thanks again.

Also, the first squad looks amazing. I'll have to show this thread to my friend who plays SoB to make him jealous.

picky git :-P

will have a go at sorting it the picture makes it look much worse

Hmmm...those look to good to be speed painted. The only way to tell is if you send them to me free of charge, and let me carefully examine them for the next few years.

yea no probs i'll do you a swap if you could send me a few hundred £ for me to "examine" for a few years........ :-P

do you have a link to the plastic one's would be very intrested in them

I do enjoy how you've already completed a squad whereas it takes me 3 hours to do one model (and not even to the same standard) and have only done 7/10 of a single squad!

well didnt get much time to work on these today was busy with painting other people's mini's but here's a crappy shot of the next squad i'd say there about 90% done :-)

Your SoBs look fantastic.

I have my old ones soaking in Simple Green right now for a near future painting frenzy and return to the field. I hope they turn out half as well.

What were the interesting bits you used on the bases?
