And I totally agree that the Powerfist model is the best by far. Also, may I kindly recommend searching for a tutorial or two on how to do better lightning effects? I think you are doing a fantastic job all around but the power weapon effect is holding those particular models back. If you can't find a tutorial on B&C I know there are some on dakkadakka. Yeah, it didn't turn out precisely how I wanted. I wanted the individual lightning strikes to be finer but I think I need a smaller bursh to pull it off and thin down the paint a bit more. OH! and one more thing, does anyone know of a differnt way to do the symbols with the angel wings ? nicolo Posted October 21, 2011 Share Posted October 21, 2011 i like the blood on astorath's wings a lot, maybe try mixing some glue with it and get a stringy dripping effect on the ax or off the wings as well, are you going to convert him to keep with the spartan feel?
