Grimdarkness Posted July 12, 2011 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Seems a lot of folks have friends leaving the hobby and i can add my name to the list anyway my friend just gave me a lot of his Black Templar stuff and my question is could i should i remove the templar cross from the sword berthren if i plan on useing them as fist company crimson fist? You could use the a counts as Vangaurd unit of BT attached to a CF crusade force just for variety. Grimdarkness Posted July 12, 2011 Author Share Posted July 12, 2011 I,ve thought of it but my thinking is that if the first company of the crimson fist are based around the templars of the Imperial fist legion the company/chapter(black templar) icon could be used in a different way. Hemal Posted July 12, 2011 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Nah - the Crimsons Fists were made of the youngest Imperial Fist Legionnaries, the most fanataical went on to form teh Black Templars, with teh Templar cross iconography etc developed from there. Perhaps sculpting a fist in the middle of teh cross might be ok, but otherwise I think that the SB models are a bit too much on the Templar side - copare to Vanguard and Sternguard vets - even the BA specific Vanguard sarge isn't all angelic...
