Grey Knight Terminators WIP

Recommended Posts

So I'm getting back into the game after a few years not playing or building, and decided to jump in with the new Grey Knights. Here's what I've built today:

Termi with Daemonhammer

Librarian, arm swap with Nemesis warding staff from GK Termi sprue, used his arm on another model below.

Paladin Apothecary, used Draigo's arm because I liked the sculpt even though the Apothecary can't use a storm bolter. Does raise an interesting question - does every GK shoot left-handed except Draigo?

Alternate Librarian/Grand Master, did some head & arm swaps here

Brother-Captain/Master model, base has the Brotherhood banner planted into the rocks, no pics until I decide which way I want it facing. Most of the banner is covered up by the model, so facing backwards to show off the image kinda made sense. Thoughts either way?

Looking good so far brother! The Apothecary looks particularly nice.

I'd keep the banner facing backwards, since as you say that'd allow you to paint it better, and those purity seals give you some sparkly stuff for you to look at from the front.

Any particular army list you're going for?

Here's some updates from this afternoon's priming and base-coating.

And the apothecary, was shooting for white helm and leg armor but doesn't photograph very well, that and the cloak will probably look better when dry and after the always fun process of layering on red over black.

Detailed the Apothecary further, cleaned up the head and leg panels back to a silver, probably still a little too bright. Now just some detailing and cleanup before moving on.
