dizzy-xc
He looks like a Chaos Havoc Marine, not a MotF. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234006-a-master-of-the-forge-on-foot/#findComment-2817277 Share on other sites
PyronusSouria
He looks like a Chaos Havoc Marine, not a MotF. Agreed. He looks way too Chaotic and heretical. Brother-Captain Sharp
He looks like a Chaos Havoc Marine, not a MotF. Agreed. He looks way too Chaotic and heretical. Yeah, the Rhino trophy rack is too chaotic of a piece to be incorporated into Space Marine minis IMO. zerospace
Thanks for feedback. He certainly does look like a Havoc Marine, now that you mention it and very chaotic. I got the idea from one of the old Chaos codexes, back when they could have a techmarine with a conversion beamer, so i am currently thinking of a backstory to explain their appearence. Maybe "reformed" Chaos Marines? And yes, i do agreee, the gun is a bit small... Something Wycked
I hate to break it to you, but the only "reform" allowed Traitors to the Imperium is death at the hands of the faithful :P The Astartes and Imperium are just hardcore like that. He'd make a fantastic MOTF for a Renegade chapter, or even a small Obliterator for Chaos :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234006-a-master-of-the-forge-on-foot/#findComment-2818233 Share on other sites
zerospace
Can you use a MOTF in a Traitor Legion? Are they still Chaos? or do they use the SM codex (sorry, i am extremely new to 40K). I was hoping to use it in an SM chapter, but I suppose i could use it in a Traitor Legion or maybe a Chaos chapter based on the Iron Warriors. Thanks for feedback. Olgerth Istaarn
You can field a Chaos force using a loyalist codex, but you have to make sure your opponent can tell what's what. Wicced
not bad for a first conversion though the barrel of his gun looks not quite straight to me. Something Wycked
The paint job could use some highlighting, or maybe a dip or a wash to add some definition to the various areas, but it doesn't flat out "suck" :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234006-a-master-of-the-forge-on-foot/#findComment-2819239 Share on other sites
