Vexicus
Hail Brothers, Stealing the Initiative, what is it? I heard some guys talking about it in my local GW and wondered what it was. Cheers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234161-stealing-the-initiative/ Share on other sites
dswanick
It is the Holy Grail of the Deployment stage. See the Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook, Pg.92. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234161-stealing-the-initiative/#findComment-2819824 Share on other sites
Tanhausen
It is the Holy Grail of the Deployment stage. See the Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook, Pg.92. LOL! For me its only a karmic punishment: if I go first, the more aggressive I deploy, the higher chances you have :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234161-stealing-the-initiative/#findComment-2819883 Share on other sites

DarkGuard
It is also optional, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I've seen some people try to force me and others to seize the initiative when you might not want to for strategic reasons. You have a choice to utilize the rule or not.
