Default
Hi, a long time lurker on B+C, I've recently decided to bite the bullet and paint an army to post in the Hall of Honour. The problem is, I've decided to add a detachment of Thousand Sons to my Chaos army (I love the models + background) but am a little stuck on what colour to paint: 1) The jewels on the armour 2) The eyes on the shoulder pads 3) The marines actual eye lenses I only ask, seeing as games workshop paint theirs green in the codex which looks ok but in practice doesn't stand out from the blue of the model. Also fluff wise, wouldn't red be more suitable....? Let me know your opinions. I'm sorry if it seems like a dumb question  Al Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234163-what-colour-should-the-jewels-and-eyes-be/ Share on other sites
annabelle
I use blazing orange for the helmet lenses, looks sweet in contrast with the blue. Was lazy with shoulder eyes, just did gold. I used a lighter blue for the jewels. TmdRemm
I painted the eyes with bleached bone, space marine eyes green, jewels green too. It looks okay to me, but you should kinda find out yourself what suits you.
