Frag grenades anyone? DCA says no.

Easy fix: don't be a goofball and assault your DCA into units in cover- use the regular Grey Knights in the list for that, or just shoot that unit down. :P

Edit: I mean, heck, if you want to use that line of logic, where one failing is enough to disqualify a unit, then the Eversor discussion was over a long time ago :cuss

Or run your DCAs out of a Crusader or Redeemer.

Nicely out of context but it's really just a bonus to the mentioned 'single model in terrain' idea. Also depending on the terrain i don't always get the choice to not assault a unit in cover (destroyed tranports jump to mind)

The major difference between the Callidus and the Eversor is that the Eversor is not commited to an attack that cannot be completed on the turn he arrives. This opens up quite a few tactics and strategies that just cannot be used with a Callidus. While in the previously mentioned thread I stated my dislike of the Callidus' current rules, I find the Eversor's current rules slightly better than the previous edition and with no reduction in ability as was had with the Callidus. Tactically, I'd rate the Eversor as a better buy than the Callidus, but still not as good as a Vindicare.
