I didn't sculpt them. I'm not sure, but I think that all this minis were produced by small companies and available on sale few years ago. ThisisJimmy Posted March 25, 2012 Share Posted March 25, 2012 Fantastic looking army, especially loving the look of the Emperor's sword, and the combination of that crisp red and that dark gol is very striking. The only thing I would say is that Dorn looks quite plain compared to the Custodes. I think its the black on him that looks plain in comparison. It seems churlish to criticise, but anyway, if theres something i would change its that the Emperor looks very monochromatic from the front. Its just gold, gold and more gold. It would be nice to see even some of the rivets painted as gems or something. I think it'd really make him pop a little more. On the same notion, i think the emperors face lacks a focal point... Maybe if he had glowing blue eyes or something it'd really complete the piece. Maybe thats just me though, and really great work. Dorn is perfect, love the expression you've captured on his face.
