LoneWulfen
I really like your scouts and MotW conversions. They are superb! My only constructive criticism is that on the models it looks like you just use flat colours with no washes or highlighting my advice would be to start with a dark colour, wash it, highlight the colour wash it highlight etc.etc. Until you get a nice realistic transition and colour. This wouldn't apply to camo patterns but rather the actual material. Also, you seem to leave the 'flash' which is where the models have been moulded, to clean these up simply use a file or hobby knife and just scrape the flash off, if you use a file just repeatedly 'sand' the model. And lastly remember smooth coats! Just water the paint down slightly and you'll notice the colours run on more smooth and you'll have better control of the paint, also remember to touch up! When you catch another area that isn't supposed to be the colour you caught it with, just touch in the middle highlight colour and it generally sorts it out. Anyway, have an ale and try to put the pointers into your work from everybody that gives you help! You'll notice a vast improvement in your work, and who knows, you may even have a chance at golden demon :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234623-hrolf-redfangs-great-company/page/2/#findComment-2947870 Share on other sites
