Champion Cliesthenes Posted July 22, 2011 Share Posted July 22, 2011 I am thinking about making an uber killy Librarian squad for my new Grey Knights, what do you guys think would make a good Librarian squad worth taking? A lot of people seem to think these type of psyker squad should make a stronger attack similar to the Inquisitor Henchman psyker squads but that seems kind of bland to me. i was thinking they can either power up there powers or have it where (for example) it takes 2 Librarians to nullify Perils of the Warp whike the other 4 can cast powers as thry please? It could be said the GK's found a way for 1 Librarian to control the warp for another one preventing the perils. What do you all think? Deamon Wolf Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 Im thinking statline of Paladins 65 points per model plus 5 points per psykik power and 100 points for the formation all weapons are always active unit is able to summon them selvs to any point on the board once per game and charge that turn but cannot shoot ( walking through the warp has taken its toll ) a lvl3 Libby must lead the unit at the begining of the game roll a d3 for the powers the libby has on the roll of a 1 or 2 stay the same on a 3 or 4 range doubles on a 5 or 6 strength and AP increases i.e s5 gose to s6 and ap 4 gose to ap 3 the unit itsself will be able to cast 2 psykik powers per turn chosen from the powers list on the from the libby page in the dex the powers must be bought for the squad im thinking this wouldbe quite evil :) :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234711-grey-knight-apocalypse-formation/#findComment-2827163 Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheDVoid Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 I think the squad should stand at five librarians one being level 3, models at 65 with formation cost of 130. Squad has four psykic powers plus Deamon Wolf's idea with the warp travel. For the use of psykic powers I would say squad may use two powers per turn if they move, if they do not move then the controller may choose eather to use three powers or to fire the two powers at seperate targets.
