Gomez
Here's the model that will count as Dante for my Flesh Tearers... C & C is appreciated! G Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235029-flesh-tearers-dante/ Share on other sites
Olis
Pretty decent conversion and I'm loving the verdigris on his armour. You've missed the word squiggles on the purity seals though. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235029-flesh-tearers-dante/#findComment-2830057 Share on other sites
Greyall
You win, mate. This tops Dante's design. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235029-flesh-tearers-dante/#findComment-2830075 Share on other sites
aftershock
I kind of like the squiggle less purity seals. I know it doesnt match fluff or visually seen things from GW, but its nice. The model is amazing. Nice work. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235029-flesh-tearers-dante/#findComment-2830166 Share on other sites

Grim of Chaos
Very nice job there. Can I ask how you got the lime scale effect on the armour as I've been trying to protect that for a while? Again nice model. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235029-flesh-tearers-dante/#findComment-2830421 Share on other sites
Gomez
Cool very very cool. well done You mean the verdigris around the edges of the armor? Pretty simple, actually... First of all, I don't use GW's paints (aside from metallics and washes), so you'll need to translate a little bit. I start by mixing a medium green and medium blue, though you could just use a good turquoise if you've got it. Add a drop or two of FFF (or whatever that type of floor wash is called locally for you), an equal amount of paint medium extender (mine is "Brush 'n Blend"), and enough water to thin it to your desired consistency. Then just wash it into the cracks and crevices you think would be weathered over the millenia. And voila! Hope that helps. Let me know if you've got other questions...
