Enzephalon
Today I managed to paint up this little guy. It was time to build me a PA Reclusiarch. I proxied him the last few games with my TDA guy. This was not a real good solution for obvious reasons. I bulit him a few days ago with bits I once ordered for him and today I managed to completely paint him. Hope you like it. http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2011/7/26/251576_md-Blood%20Angels,%20Conversion,%20Reclusiarch.JPG http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2011/7/26/251577_md-Blood%20Angels,%20Conversion,%20Reclusiarch.JPG http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2011/7/26/251578_md-Blood%20Angels,%20Conversion,%20Reclusiarch.JPG

Enzephalon
Fan freaking tactic paintjob. But might I inquire as to the presence of the wolf pelt? Thanks. Glad you like him. As for the pelt. I wanted him to have some sort of cape. My greenstuff skills are not that good yet and I had this one floating around in my bitz box, so it was an easy decision. :) Fluffwise you could think of him fighting some sort of mutated wolf-beast-monstrosity on the planet of Baal with his bare hands, long before he became a Space Marine. And due to this coincidence he was chosen to be part of the sons of Sanguinius and kept the pelt as a trophy. Sounds not that bad actually. ^^
toaae
It is very well done. One small gripe. I do love how green goes with red (reason my marines are 4th company), but I almost feel as if it's overused on this model. Maybe if just the weapon wasn't green... Still, I really like the model and the paint job. Gotta ask the question that always gets asked when someone converts a chaplain: where did you get the head from? Still, I really like the model and the paint job. Gotta ask the question that always gets asked when someone converts a chaplain: where did you get the head from? You are right. It's quite a good amount of green. Especially since there is so little red. But I have no other option. I decided to do gems, purity seals, and power weapons in green. And so I stick to it army wide. The head is from the chaos space marine range, but don't ask me what model. I bought it from a bitz shop. It's a crazy cool bit. ^^ As for the shoulder pads. They are from the range of Scibor miniatures http://sciborminiatures.com/pow.php?absol=1&co=i/2010/big/shouldrpads_angel_01.jpg

They are just too bulky. I considered them already as a bad buy, because for my terminators I already used the ones from Forgeworld. Using them on my HQ though was working out quite well. But it's really at the upper limit as you can see.
