PyronusSouria
For my Chapter, I was planning on having certain ranks discernible by their armour, for example having a Sergeant have his left shoulder pad be a studded one. Is this possible, or is every Marine stuck with the armour they have until reaching a more substantial rank? Lysimachus
I could see this working. In most Chapters, older armour is respected and often given to veteran troops/commander, all you'd be doing is more strictly codifying how it's handed out and to who. Khine
would it be purely older armour? like the more revered you are .. the older mark armour you wear? what about the latest armours who gets them? Ecritter
I do this with my Sons of Pyron. Not using studded pads, but different pads for sargeants. I never explained it in the IA though since it really affects nothing. So I don't see a problem with it.
