DAwarrior43
Any tips on a brand? Or how does a GW one work? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235092-modeling-saw/ Share on other sites
Sgt. Tiberus Satio
It is a general saw that you can find at any hobby shop. I purchased one from I believe Michaels a few years back for $5/8 with 3 different size and thickness blades to change out. I use mine for metal cutting, terrain and larger modeling cuts. winterdyne
'Zona' are pretty good saws. I have a 3-in-1 set I've been using for years. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235092-modeling-saw/#findComment-2831161 Share on other sites
T14
Photo-etched razor saws are so thin that amputating a model damages neither the leftover model or resulting loose part. Brother Predacon
I have the gw saw. It works really well (watch those fingers!!!) but I do wish that it came with different thicknesses. Also, the blade is kinda long and is hard to get into small places. The blade is sharp enough to remove a piece of a model without mutilating the rest of the mini (space marine hands come off easily without damaging the wrists/forearms).
