Various DA special character ideas

Hail fellow members of the DA Inner Circle ~grins~ sorry for the lack of posts in almost a year just had important RL stuff like family and dealing with various other things that cropped up in that time. lifes all good though and things now are the way they should have been all along, was in the wilderness from 1998 to 2004 not coping with a problem like mental illness by living in denial. which is not coping at all.

 

though it took an event in may 2004 to then break the cycle of breakdown/admission on an almost yearly cycle. out of something that couldnt have been any worse, allowed so much good happen, it really is true often out of a terrible event, if you can find the strength to go on then life throws you a ball you can get a home run with. and thats what happened to me, i know this doesnt relate to my reason for getting back on B&C but i thought id share some insight i gained, any problem you dont face up to and run from, well itll get bigger and bigger till it becomes your nemesis. itll be so strong you cant think you have a chance to beat it however if you turn around, and meet the danger, then you see this thing that caused you so many sleepless nights, stress and worry soon become manageable till a point in time not too far off, where you are free and living a happy life.

 

any ways onto my 3 characters, Ariel "Black Rain" Nathanielle wielding dual blades (master crafted power sword & master crafted chainsword, master crafted needle pistol, tangle foot grenades, plasma grenades and a relic of the chapter which is an icon with a in-built displacer field)

 

then we have Liartes "Swooping Hawk" Damocles who is a DA SOG CQB intstructor, he has a monomolecular knife, dual pistols (master crafted plasma pistol, one master crafted bolt pistol) the plasma pistol follows standard rules but on the roll of 1 shuts down instead of following the "gets hot" rule and is simply recharging the following turn so cannot be used to shoot. the master crafted bolt pistol has standard rules with the addition of having specialist ammunition according to that found in Sternguard units. note all DA veterans in my rules have access to Sternguard specialist ammo and pay 4 pts per model.

 

and lastly we have Ryan "Hawk Talon" Dueter, he is equipped with a master crafted chainsword and a Hot Shot marksman boltgun that has the same stats for a standard boltgun as well being silenced and using the Sternguard ammo, it also has a special sight, on the roll of a 3+ before rolling to hit, if successfully rolled the sight can lock on and ignores intervening terrain and cover or any units blocking line of sight. he effectively has an unobstructed line of sight to any model in the game up to the maximum range of the weapon. this sight works in a similar fashion to Terror-sight but is incorporated into the scope.

Ariel Nathanielle - WS 6, BS 5, S 4, T 4, W 3, I 5, A3, Ld 10 Sv 3+

 

special rules - and they shall have no fear, see but remain unseen, combat tactics

 

Liartes Damocles - W 5, BS 6 S 4 T 4 W 1 I 4 A 2 Ld 9 Sv 3+

 

special rules - and they shall know no fear, combat tactics, stealth, acute senses, infiltrate (rule applies to any veteran squad he is attached to) move through cover, and he also "borrows Telions eye of vengeance & voice of experience special rules, we are the Dark Angels and if we need something for a mission, we will infiltrate a Blood Angel FOB and use Thunderhawk Transporters to air lift either variants of the Baal class Predator, but thats just one example how our fluff could work ~grins~

 

ok now we have this last guy who i have no clue about how to take the rules so any of you please feel welcome to post ideas ect.

good to be back fellow Battle-Brother Isiah ~high fives you~ its been way too long since ive been active on B&C. however im working on a couple of things right now, a modified Valkyrie for my Cadian Kasrkin Special Ops (IG allies for my DA SOG) and a new Stryker (DA Hurricane) with a Whirlwind launcher. so expect updates this week coming up. anyways just want to wish all my DA Battle-Brothers much luck and i hope all your 40K related endeavours are coming along nicely. see you all online ~smiles~
