Urban Wolves

I could see vindicators, lots of flamers, swift & skyclaws, dreadnoughts, wolf scouts, maybe razorbacks w/ short ranged heavy weaponry, missile launchers galore in long fangs packs would be fluffy here.

Urban warfare is very up close & personal, short ranged & long ranged from perches (snipers). Armour is going to be of less effect here & combined arms will be prime, so APC/AFV are going to be the most used vehicles, along w/ tanks whose weaponry complements & is complemented by the infantry that escorts it.

The Swiftclaws would operate as mobile assault elements to hit & run against enemy armour & strongpoints whereas the skyclaws would be key here for grabbing objectives or as a counter element to fill gaps in the lines.

thanks red it was just a idea that poped in my head as some thing kool for a wolf lords GC to specialize in and i was just trying to figure out what kinda list i would draw up.

No prob. It's actually the way I designed my IF army for the most part. I don't use bikes just due to not having any but the rest of my suggestions I run. I mean, w/ IFs being masters of siege warfare, in my mind siege warfare in modern times & on involves lots of urban combat.

yea very true. i think that y i went with the grey/grey scheme for my wolves.i might have to do some snub nose predators. wise the baal pred was space marine wide i really would like to field some of those. i mean shoot u give BA 2 of the koolest units in that tank and the furiso dread. but this might be prerfect to run thunderwolf cav in.

Dreadnougths, Dreadnougths, Dreadnougths is my view what fluffwise belongs in a City/Urban enviorment ofc flamers too, and meltas for destroying doors. Rhinos a maybe tbh, but yh i think most of the other posters have got a good idea <_<

EDIT: Conversions with Chaos Mauraders maybe for some bare arms?

Dreadnoughts would be a bad idea. As I suggested meltas, the sam would apply to any enemy. Expect them to take close range AT because cover and concealment would allow them to get up close and personal before you would ever see them. That is why I suggested WGTDA. They would be you walking armor element instead of trying to get armor through the city streets/alleys/buildings.
