amuro_ray
Hi, All we meet again in a confusing rules question. Kaldor Draigo's Titansword...is it a nemesis force sword? or something else...? Rune_Priest_Rhapsody
All nemesis weapons are force weapons. The codex says it is a master crafted force weapon. And since it claims to also be a Daemonbane, it would make sence that it s in fact a force weapon. jeffersonian000
Correct. The Titansword is not a Nemesis Force Sword, but it does follow the rules for Nemesis Force Weapons. However, it is not a Nemesis Force Sword, and does have it's own special rules. Whitefireinferno
Yeah it is a Special FW not a Special NFS so you do not get any bonus to Inv saves in combat. nurglez
As Draigo having a 2++ save in combat would be a not broken heh, though remember its a master crafted force weapon, so don't forget to Reroll 1 hit :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235217-kaldor-draigos-titansword/#findComment-2832727 Share on other sites
Rune_Priest_Rhapsody
So, is this another case of "it is implied, but since it isn't stated it's not"?? I was playing it as force weapon (all one games I gotten in with my GK...). Commander S. Caesare
Hi, All we meet again in a confusing rules question. Kaldor Draigo's Titansword...is it a nemesis force sword? or something else...? Regards, :) That, my Gundam friend, is just a sword following the rules of the Nemesis and its special rules. thade
The reason the distinction is made is, as Paladin Nurglez pointed out, the sword does not increase Draigo's invulnerable save to 2++ in close combat. It is explicitly not a Nemesis Force Sword. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235217-kaldor-draigos-titansword/#findComment-2833182 Share on other sites
BLACK BLΠFLY
HEY DRAIGO WE THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE SOME NEMESIS IN YOUR TITAN SWORD SO WE PUT SOME NEMESIS IN YOUR DAEMONBANE SO YOU NEMESIS FORCE WEAPON ALL THE EVIL BADDIES WITH YOUR NEMESIS !! http://images.wikia.com/warhammer40k/images/d/d3/Gk22.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235217-kaldor-draigos-titansword/#findComment-2833214 Share on other sites

Angelis Mortis
The reason the distinction is made is, as Paladin Nurglez pointed out, the sword does not increase Draigo's invulnerable save to 2++ in close combat. It is explicitly not a Nemesis Force Sword. Agreed. I also would point out that he probably the nastiest monster I've ever used in a game as far as special characters are concerned and he really doesn't need the 2++. The 3++ is just fine and when he's in with a Paladin death star he is pretty much unstoppable. I don't think anyone would notice the difference with 2++ over 3++ to be honest. He's just that nasty. BLACK BLΠFLY
Draigo is the one unit I can think of that can fight all by his lonesome and tear it up. He doesn't need a 2++ in melee by any stretch of the imagination. He is our own Chuck. :cuss G :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235217-kaldor-draigos-titansword/#findComment-2833543 Share on other sites
amuro_ray
lolz, thanks all, just thinking about it and needs clarification from other brainz coz the titan sword is a sense a sword...and all grey knight carries nemesis weapons....with the daemonbane rules...not to mention daemonbane only mentions nemesis weapons we dont need to make our chuck norris become a godly... :) just watched 5 man purifier cleanses all 20 ork kommandos and a dreadknight deflects 76 attacks from ork boyz ;) in today's weekend match we really are the current badass in the imperium... ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235217-kaldor-draigos-titansword/#findComment-2833735 Share on other sites
