Wolf Lord

Totally playable. But I will agree that costing more than the Great Wolf himself seems off. What about adding the Rage USR to Brans "wulfen" ability, for fluff sake!!

I like it and look forward to the other lords inclusions!!

End of Line

i don't get it why his saves change? the explenation you give could represent the thoughness bonus, but turning into a wulfen doesn't just turn your belt of russ into a stormshield now does it? maybe something akin to the bloodrage as seen in the bloodangel codex could fit as a special rule, having you roll for each pack at the start of the game, on the roll of a 1 a randomly selected grey hunter gains the mark of the wulfen. i'm interested to see where this ends as i'm a bran player myself :)

My suggested changes;

- He turn's Wulfen to easily. I would suggest that considering how the Wulfen curse actually works, you make it that when Bran takes a wound in close combat, you roll a D6. On a 4+, he turns Wulfen. Once Wulfen, he is then subject to the Feel No Pain, and Rage USRs.

This makes it a bit more "fluffy", as he's losing control in the heat of battle, and then getting very very angry :). As such he's able to shrug off lesser attacks, and the enemy has to hit him with something pretty hard to knock him down.

I really like the idea of him being able to give infiltrate to two GH units. Perhaps considering the fluff giving them the Scout USR as well? Fits better with the idea of them getting into position behind the enemy. Or perhaps instead, being able to take OBEL Scouts as troops choices.

One question, why Saga of the Bear? I understand wanting to make him tough, but I would of thought Saga of the Warrior Born more fitting with the fluff behind him (Going into a craze during the heat of battle, and tearing through his foes)

edit: With the turning Wulfen part harder to achieve, and the downgrade of the 3+ inv save to FNP (+ the disadvantage of rage) I would say you could then bump his points cost down to more around Ragnar's level (Another of the Wolf Lords), so around 240pt.
