Land Speeder WIP

So I lacked some scouts, and a Land Speeder...decided to get a Land Speeder Storm (know Wolves can't use it), use scouts regularly and make LSS count as a standard one...but one thing I always wanted to make is a fierce SW leaning on the side of the LS with a CCW, cutting some heads off...so the Storm version was perfect for it, with all the extra space. It's purely for aesthetics, I don't play much so it won't be a problem.

This guy is almost finished, just needs some green stuffing...thinking of adding one guy with a heavy bolter on the other side, to count as the speeder's heavy bolter.

Just need to get my hands on some pilots now...

Here it is:

looks cool, so is the land speeder circling around? or is it bent? or is it just pointed forwards? because if it's pointed forwards, it doesn't flow well with the guy hanging, because he's looking in a different direction. If the land speeder is heading straight, and he's looking at the sides, he's not doing much but look cool. I dunno if that makes sense... I'm picky like that but that's just me and my symmetry LOL

--EDIT--

I was referring to the last picture from the angle of the shot. Unless he's just hanging there hoping to slice heads but again his face is looking the wrong way. If the speeder is circling around for it's prey then, it's understandable, and cool.

Love it :), awesome idea.

In regards to Maverick's comment, have to agree that the angle of the speeder looks a tad odd. I would have the speeder banking down and to the right, as if it was circling back around for another pass at some unseen foe.

But yeh, that aside, it's a great idea :)

Thanks for the advices!

As said, the Speeder is still wip, and it's having some balance issues. Even without the marine, the back side is heaveier, making it lean backwards, and with the marine and his metal sword - even more.

Now, what I had in mind when making this - regarding the face - I captured a moment when he is about to swing at/strike an enemy, so he's looking towards that enemy (although it won't be a diorama, and I probably won't be making that specific enemy).

Regarding the speeder - the intended position is something like Silverwolf said - leaning forwards and on the right. (Sorry, forgot to position it better when taking these pictures. ;))

There is plenty of space in the nose of the speeder, so might stuff it with lead or something - that should lean it forward.

This would be more like it. Dunno if the pics do it justice, a bit tricky to capture the 3D feel (hoping this non-power armoured Fuegan here won't be a big problem with the rules... :( ...just couldn't put a fellow wolf to represent an "enemy" ;)).

Would this be correct/closer to reality?
