Aidoneus
My friend TJ took the body from an arco-flagellant and put on the gauntlet arms from a Dark Eldar Wych (see top-middle model here). He hasn't painted it yet, but just from a modeling aspect it looks pretty good. It sort of conveys the sense that this is a stim-pumped deranged killing machine that has just been let off its leash and pointed forward, which I think fits the rules for the Eversor better than the actual fluff. A bit hit or miss...but I like it. See what I did there? Please pardon my slowness, I didnt quite get what you are trying to achieve there, but nevertheless, can you tickle my fancy? please? Many thanks and appreciation in advance, Neonfunk Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235469-eversor-assassin/page/2/#findComment-2840749 Share on other sites
ValourousHeart
I used this model. Link Second from the left. I just green stuffed a ninja mask across her nose and mouth... and some more green stuff and bit of paper clip to build the needle part of the pistol. Plus it keeps with the Decree Passive (no men under arms) for my sisters army. Now if I could find a good female option for the Culexus and Vindicare... that also happened to be GW (or mostly GW). jeffersonian000
Eschers are nice, and I've been playing around with idea of convert each of the assassins from them (seeing as almost all of the poses are represented). Current, however, I use my Spyers as assassins (they just look the part so well). thade
Back on the tactics-side of thing, I kind of like the idea of a Storm Raven carrying a single Eversor as its "cargo". It rings very loudly of anime, this screaming, gun-bristling bird flying low through a heavy combat zone, it's one passenger, patient, meditating, eyes closed...waiting. Waiting. The ship explodes - some lucky lascannon shot - he tucks, he rolls, eyes still closed. He stands, mid-field, surrounded by enemies and the wreckage that was previously his ride. "It's time," he says, clicking the injectors on. (A single model is easy to hide behind wreckage and totally block LOS so he takes little to no focus-fire. Also consider he's Fleet. And I roll 6s, as is my custom.) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235469-eversor-assassin/page/2/#findComment-2841415 Share on other sites
