The Blue Buddha Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 So I've been lurking on the forums again looking for some inspiration to make some Night Lords. I read all 44 something pages on Dan the Daemon's army and I'm very impressed. I don't want to copy him exactly but I do really like the idea of bigger, meaner marines. And well since I had a bunch of parts laying around I figured for my first experiment I'd represent one of my favorite Night Lords: Talos. He needs some serious love from a file at this point but I just wanted to see how the enlargement would work out. The Blue Buddha Posted August 2, 2011 Author Share Posted August 2, 2011 That's the standard skull helm out of the regular chaos marine box. Upon further reading I found that Talos wears mostly a Mk. V war plate set up so I'll probably trim down the lower greaves and do the drill/glass bead thing and give them the knobbly bitz. I want to leave the shoulder pads alone though so I can paint in the necessary lightning and legion symbols. As for First Claw, Mercutian is already mostly complete but I couldn't help but use the loyalist heavy bolter as it's sooooooooo much cooler. and Cyrion is in the planning stages.
