Marshal Hadrarius
I'm thinking of starting a small Subjugator marine force but am struggling with how to paint them and am basically looking for advice how others would do it. Basic scheme can be found here http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Subjugators At the moment im leaning towards scorpion possibly with a black wash ? anyway what do you guys think? Olis
Might I suggest a 50/50 with Scorpion Green and DA Green? I think that may be a close match. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/235600-subjugator-paint-scheme/#findComment-2837752 Share on other sites
Bannus
It is the same green as the Salamanders use (at least when you compare the illustrations) - so I would go with Snot Green as the base. Marshal Hadrarius
thanks bannus/olisredan i'm think im going with dark angel undercoat (if only to give something for the snot to sit on!) snot green a few layers then a thrakka wash followed with highlights of snot and then snot with a bit of bleech bone and see how that goes.
