frost weapon and wulfen

what do most frost weapons look like? i have seen people model axes, spears, swords. but then i have seen in the codex where a frost blade is a chainsword. so i guess my question is can a frost blade look like anything you want it to be.

i have this idea for a wulfen but im not to sure how and if it would work. im taking a pack of skyclaws and adding MOTW on one and i was thinking that if i had the mark i would not let someone put a jet pack on me. so my question is can a wulfen keep up with his pack if he doesnt have a jump pack on by running and jumping?

Mark of the Wulfen is not the same as "has turned full-blown Wulfen". Just model a guy with a Jump Pack like the rest of his pack, but make him stand out a little from the rest. Examples of common ways to do this include doubling up on close combat weapons, using a specific shoulder pad marking, leaving helmet off and painting eyes yellow, putting a red tattoo on the face, etc., etc.

yes it does not matter, i dont use the word frost-blade, but frost weapon,

your mark of the wufen idea is great, if i can borow this idea i can solve mij lack of jp's for a bit

One of the best way's (IMO) I've seen this done is to chop off the guy's hands and replace them with Tyranid Genestealer hands. You can also get some of the Fantasy Beastman heads if you want to make it look like he's going even further along the transformation.

But yes, there is a difference between having MOTW, and being a Wulfen 13th Co. style. Think of it as a bit like a beserker's rage, which he then calms down from. So initially he'd still be all geared up with Jump-Pack etc, then go a bit nuts during the heat of battle, and calm down again after (That's how I see it anyway).

1. A frost weapon can be a multitude of things according to the codex, anything drom a chainsword made out of teeth to a weapon that looks like ice, so, its really all on you, however you wanna go about it.

2 I think that putting a jump pack on a MOTW would be fine, like others have said, just find some way to distinguish him from the others. For example, This is how I did mine, I took the claw banner thingies from the Space Wolf Pack and stuck them on all my MOTW models
