pueriexdeus
Large empty spaces? Can you be more specific? Are you referring to space or gaps between pieces that you would like to fill in for a smooth finish? or The interior empty space between pieces that no one will ever see into? DeathByFear
Empty space that no one will ever see. I just want something that will make it more sturdy so if I were to accidentally drop it then it wouldn't explode into a million pieces. Stuff like Woodputty, plaster of Paris (if you can make it water tight) or even something like play-doh should do the trick. madscuzzy
You will need to becareful with stuff like expanding foam. It can be tricky to control the rate of expansion. You wouldn't want you precious model to bloat up and break up at the seams. Plaster or putty can be heavy when hardens, so you may or may not want that. Randomly glue extra bits of plastic, like sprue and stuff to prop the surfaces may be the safest way to fill it in. Darklighter
Use some furniture foam (the stuff they fill seat cussions with) that way you can cut it to the shape and size you need. You and sqeeze it in hard to reach places and can glue it in with out any problems. You can get light and heavy wieght foams so you don't have to worry about adding too much mass and cotroll the amount of stiffness needed..
