DemonicWorkshop Posted August 9, 2011 Author Share Posted August 9, 2011 Awsome! Glad you guys like them. I was definatly going for a clean look as far as very little mutations and such. I did however want the servo arm to be the theme of the army, it screams Iron Warriors. As for the FW kit so far the army is all MK3 MK4 with a little bit of MK2 in there. When I saw the old armor mark kits especialy MK3 I knew I had to do this army. I will def. get some better pics up tonight. I wanted the army to have a Heresy era feel so I opted for thudd guns instead of the thunderfire cannon. I always thought it would be cool to have a Techmarine dread around for fixing some really big vehicals haha! One niggle - the exhaust on the dread has rust on it where I think it'd be more appropriate to have soot and tarnished metal. I think I will just do a series of washes brown, black and such, and should look cool. Working on some termites for counts as drop pods. I will post pics soon. Cheers!!!
