Rush for 'Ard Boyz

Alright, I've changed my list for the better, conveniently meaning I just need a Razorback, a Drop Pod, and some assorted arms and other bits.

I grabbed a Ravenwing Battleforce and a Razorback with my winnings, so life is good.

If I had the money, I would play Dark Angels again, if only for the Ravenwing.

Looking through the bits, I have the urge, too. Still, they're being used for Swiftclaws and a speeder. I do have the Land Speeder pilot in the exact same pose as Sammael on the speeder, except with the Wolf sword and bits.
You could model them as space wolves, and use them as Ravenwing for rules, even in this edition the Ravenwing is kick-ass. That would be an awesome army for Erik Krakendooms Great Company . Now that I just said that..... Hmmmm the possibilities......

Well, I used the Multi-Melta from the attack bike to finish the guns on the speeder. The brass rod on the spear doesn't look as pretty as the original banner shaft, but you get the idea. I just can't figure out what to do with his left arm, it's a real tight fit with the pilot's shoulder there. I also magnatized the "shaft" of the flying base to the bottom of the speeder. Before, the little pin on the shaft was too small, and the hole in the speeder was too big. You wouldn't be ablle to keep the speeder on there for your life before, now it can just about point straight up and down without falling off.

And this is what the spear used to look like before the shaft broke.

Thats the shaft with a ball and socket joint, part of the flying base speeders come with. The actual base had some material on it that wasn't wanting to dry, so I just stuck it in a terminator base with a hole for the picture.

Currently I have:

- 3 Drop Pods assembled as far as they need to be

-2 Rhinos

-1 Razorback with a hybrid-oldschool Twin Linked LAscannon turret.

-2 Packs of Long Fangs assembled, 2 Plasmacannons of the third.

-2 out of 5 Wolf guard.

-Land Speeder

-2 out of 4 grey hunter packs.

I still have my work cut out for me, but now it's break time.

I "getto'd" some plasma cannons together, I think people will get a chuckle out of them Saturday. I also glued together the Dread I'm using as Bjorn, and for fun I made a pice of terrain/objective marker, and put a little paint on a shoulder pad. I plan to use it later on another character. Sorry the pictures came out blurry.

The terrain is just a pice of biker box cut into a shape, I then glued pieces of sprue to it to keep it rigid. Once the super glue dried, I mixed some ballast material with some water and tacky glue, and added space wolves blue to give it color. The remnants of the concrete wall is a piece of foam packaging from a box of rifle cartridges. The idea with the flag and autocannon, is that the autocannon was wrecked, and flag pole broken, so someone put what was left of the flag staff in the muzzle, and leaned it against the wall. It's going to be a pain to try and paint the autocannon and flag later, but it was an impromptu addition, and the glue mix was starting to dry.
