Sokhar
No point in bothering with power weapons on the DC. You'll inflict so many wounds with the DC that all the power weapon wounds get stacked on as few models as possible. Denying FNP can be pretty darn important. Specially late game when you've taken a few casualties. Denying FNP works the same as ignoring armor saves--i.e. if you deal enough wounds to put multiple on each guy, your opponent piles them onto as few models as possible, and the rest get armor and FNP. I didn't mean that you should never give DC power weapons, I meant that giving them a couple is a waste. Either give them all weapons so there's no tricks from your opponent, or give them none or just a mix of chainswords and powerfists. Krakev
Oh yeah, well... DC aren't scoring units, so I'd just sit on a couple of objectives and then... Pah, who is that kidding? DC would rock and roll all over anything and everything. I want to see a BatRep of this, even if it is with proxy models. Perhaps against Grey Knights, man they are hella-good! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/236037-rate-this-idea/page/2/#findComment-2845207 Share on other sites
