Merkava Posted August 11, 2011 Share Posted August 11, 2011 Doing an honour guard for my librarian and wondering what I should do the shoulder pads as. The captain would have his honour guard made up from the company like a codex chapter ie company vets, but who would make up the librarians honour guard, seeing as he comes from the librarius? I'm thinking of doing mine with a blue right shoulder pad, to signify them as serving with the librarius or is this right out the window? AustonT Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Unlike codex chapters librarians and chaplains are in the BA chain of command. An Honor guard would probably be composed of the same marines that would accompany a captain. However I see no reason that the honor guard COULDN'T be identified by having blue shoulderpads. They just wouldn't be serving the librarius, well anymore than they are serving the company and chapter. SamaNagol Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Being in an Honour Guard isn't necessarily a permanent post. They can be assigned just for a particular campaign or mission. I'd probably just use campaign markings. Brother Nathan Posted August 13, 2011 Share Posted August 13, 2011 i made the discovery that sanguary guard go very well with a libarian who uses sheild to make them as tough as termys to shooting and the enemy cant decide which to attack in cc(if they get to swing) and they kill suff so he dosent have to...
