Motorbike Mike Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Morning brothers, Its been a long time since my last post on here and even longer since I picked up a paintbrush due to a severe family illness. Anyway, I managed to get back into painting just a few days ago thanks to my local store manager. She dropped off a squad of Grey Knight Purifiers for me to paint to cheer me up - how lovely! My face lit up at this as I got some of the coolest models in 40K to paint, but dropped again when she said I had only 2 days to get them finished and in the cabinet haha. I've always been a pretty slow painter due to other commitments, but I managed to get them done. I've uploaded a picture of a Deff Dread I painted around christmas time to use as comparrisson (I took my time with it and it was completed in roughly 10-12 days). I'm fairly proud of how they've turned out to say they were the first real thing I'd painted in over 6 months and also that I'd blitzed them in 36 hours. C&C are welcome on both! I'm going to be working on a diorama for my girlfriends birthday very shortly, I'll be heading to town to pick up the parts tomorrow. Going to do a Death Company Dreadnought being attacked by and fending off a squad of Dark Eldar Scourges. - two of her favourite models. So i'll post up some photos of that when its finished.
