Cypher Unbound (and friends)

Like it says on the topic, I attended my first painting competition last weekend at my local GW. It was a regional painting comp with managers from GWs coming in from all over the California bay area bringing their regulars' entries in. All said and done, more than 50 entries competed in three categories, and I managed to place top three in not one, but two of them! ;) This is my entry for best single miniature

And here's my entry for best squad. Originally I had never intended to enter these. Truth be told I had finished them a few weeks earlier and was just going to use them as my tabletop-standard minis but after a small amount of arm-twisting from my friend and the distinct lack of entry fee I decided why not? Imagine my surprise when they got such rave reviews by the store staff/managers that they placed second!

Sergeant Phador. If you look you can juuust see his graying, Mr. Fantastic-style sideburns. Between that, his eyes and his five o'clock shadow this is probably my best face ever.

Anyway, I'd love to know what you guys think! C&C always appreciated.
