How to kill a planet?

Well couldn't you use the lesser known or used chapters like the silver skulls? I understand using the big names as a cool by association. But using one of the lesser known or famous chapters you can use an established and fairly known in order to prevent the possibility of royal messed uping it. Or just using the cop out of well here is an "established" chapter that I just made up in order to fill a void I needed filled.

Avoid big names, go for the little known ones. Hell, you could even browse through the Librarium to see any Chapters you think might do a runner.

Could be on of their strikeforces was aiding you, and if you align it properly, you could time thier running away with some great cataclysm of their chapter, which would make a better argument than;

DA successor "The Fallen, i heard somebody say Fallen! Purge the place and run, we will be redeemed!"

Arbites in nearby sector "You know, house prices have really fallen lately, probably the Astartes activity lately"

BOOM

DA successor "We heard the keywords, where is our nemesis. You can either tell us, and die, or not tell us, be tortured, then die!"

Arbites "Whaaaaa..."

Sorry Ferrata, I didn't intend to start a discussion about the Ultramarines; I was just mentioning them as I could use the incident to explain why the Chapter does not follow the Codex Astartes to the letter.

I'm starting to think either Silver Skulls or the Angels of Redemption.
