Mathieu Fontaine "Master Painting Class"

So this weekend I took a break from packing and commission work to attend the 2 day class that Mathieu Fontaine does. My local hobby shop in conjunction with Secret Weapon Miniatures brought him out for this past week and for next weekend as well. I will be attending next weeks class too. I will do a proper review of his class once I get settled in my new place, for now I just wanted to share the mini that we worked on.

 

 

It is Mortimer for Mordheim(sp) It was a fun little model to work on, lots of area to experiment with the techniques that Mathieu had talked about. I was real excited to get home after the class to try out some fo his techniques. Today I sat down for about an hour and pulled out my oil paints and went to work incorporated his methods with my own, and i really have to say I am quite happy with the results.

They are both excellent and now here comes the problem i have started buy a certion amount of space miniatures boxes to do one thing and that is to do something that has not been done before and that doing of a chapter that is still unkown.I am still trying to figure out the name but it should be different . The question so many names have been used where do i start?
