Image hosting

Recommended Posts

Greetings all.

I have been looking at the images I show here on the B&C. They look grainy and poor. So I thought it was my photography skills. But when I compared the same photo of mine, with one on iPhoto and then another on photobucket, and the one on iPhoto looks good compared to the one on photobucket which looks grainy and poor. So perhaps it is photobucket that is not giving me high fidelity....?

Does anyone know of other photo-hosting sites that are linkable to the B&C?

I have tried flickr and deviantART, both of which seem to carry a sharper image than photobucket, but my n00bzor computer skills cannot get either of them to work here on B&C, which might be because B&C won't let them and/or I am naive to what I need to do....

I have spent a few hours stuffing around, and am a bit frustrated by it all. Boo!

Please help :(

If it's for photos you want to use on this forum, you can upload them to your album on this very site. Click on "My Albums" near the top of the page, make a new album if required, and upload your photos using the page that opens by clicking on the (IMHO poorly-named) "New Image" button. On that page, you can drag-and-drop the desired image straight from iPhoto to the "Upload image" field at the bottom of the page — just drop it behind the "Choose file" button. No need to fill out any other data on the page.
