EmbattledSoul
ive already sanded the flat surfaces, washed them with abrasive cleaner... now this is where im torn. do i pin a model to them and prime/paint both at the same time? or would it be easier to prime and paint each seperate, then attach the model? maverike_prime
when I built my New version of Abaddon I used a Dragon Forge base. I found it was tricky to prime the model but that's more because of the model relative to the base. the Way I build the model it had a lot of "openess" to it, so you had the arms over the body and the cloak over the legs and so forth. What model are you putting on the base? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/236236-dragon-forge-bases/#findComment-2846425 Share on other sites

Kurgan the Lurker
You can set the pin hole then pin the model to a soda bottle top while you paint it. Paint the base separate and then rejoin them when finished.
