sar mikael Posted August 21, 2011 Share Posted August 21, 2011 hi elhento- regardless of the unfocussed shots, youy appear to have some quite nicely painted models there. have you turned your camera to the macro setting or even super macro if it has it- im no photo taking buff but 9mp should be able to produce some quality shots of your minis. take some more and post again. look forward to seeing them. elhento Posted August 24, 2011 Author Share Posted August 24, 2011 i have ordered some parts from ebay for my librarin- he's going to have a two handed 'smaerai' style force sword, writst mounted bolt pistol (these from the sanguinary guard set), robed body and head (dark angels), temple style backback (dark angels veteran pack), and parchment style shoulder guards. he should look awsome with some luck. just waiting for the bits to arrive. ill post some pics when i build him and then a painted one. Also, a tip on photos with the macro setting; you should be able to press the 'take the picture' button (sorry, don't know the technical name, lol) half way or so. This helps/lets your camera focus on what the viewfinder is pointed at. As a test, take a single mini, set your camera's macro setting on, then position the camera roughly 2-3 inches from the model. Press and hold the button halfway and see if anything happens (beeps, the viewing screen changes slightly, etc.). If so, finish pressing the button to take the picture.
