Billuriye
Meagre Spoilers:: In first three chapters of Aurelian, Lorgar and Magnus say Fulgrim is dead. I thought his consciousness was pushed into deepest parts of his mind. Is he truly dead or his faint presence was not detected by them ? Leonaides
They probably didnt want to explore that deeply through the daemons conciousness in case it tainted them too... Captain Idaho
Well he's as dead as most possessed humans are, so it's not entirely inaccurate to say. It's not a symbiotic possession like Argel Tal and his mates, it's a possession where the daemon takes the body as a vassal and once it manifests itself it kills the host and uses it's flesh to form itself in the material realm. Normally this involves consumption of the poor victims' soul, but in this case Fulgrim is allowed to survive and witness the existence of this daemon using his flesh and committing crimes in his name as torture by the daemon. Son of Rawl
Indeedy he is a prisoner in his own mind while the Slaaneshi daemon walks and talks in his meat suit. It's what happens when you don't read the small print in these types of deals, they always end in tears Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/236710-fulgrim-dead/#findComment-2853904 Share on other sites

Can you just imagine how horrific it is though. He hears and sees everything but can't communicate, control or do anything else. That alone would be horrific, but I'd imagine the Daemon is doing things which would make him very upset... This type of mental anguish by an internal observer is portrayed quite well by Lews Therin Telamon in the Wheel of Time. Although his fellow brain sharer isn't an evil, messed up sex junkie daemon :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/236710-fulgrim-dead/#findComment-2854225 Share on other sites
Jim Shady
I thought the Lord of Shadows trapped him in the deepest part of his mind and also put him in the painting that's on the flagship of the EC?
