Rhino Modification?

Recommended Posts

Yes... and no. Yes, the vindicator kit is a rhino variant, so you could just buy the vindicator sprues and a rhino kit. Not sure how much money you'd save, but its possible.

HOWEVER, the vindicator requires extensive modification to the base rhino chassis, so I'd suggest against trying to make it interchangeable like you can with the predator, razorback, and whirlwind kits- with those, all you have to do is swap in the turret ring and turret for the hatch sprue if you don't want sponsons. The vindicator kit covers both side hatches and looks like it replaces both the front and top plates. It might also replace the back hatch as well; I haven't had a chance to build one so I don't know for sure.

it does replace the front and top plates, though you might (emphasis on the might) be able to fit up the vehicle to have a replaceable front plate, and just not worry about the top. you would probably need some sort of internal sparring to counter the lack of structurel support from the front plate not being glued in though... I wouldnt recommend it for a new converter.
hey i was wondering since the rhino chassi looks similar to the vindicator chassi, can i purchace the vindicator demolisher cannon bits and convert my rhinos?

The demolisher cannon can be found on ebay for like $8-$15 but if you're planning on that IF you can afford it I'd advise you just buy the vindicator kit & then you have a vindi & your rhinos. Or you can convert one up pretty easy as I did for my SW...

Very cheap & easy using 1/2" sharkbite PEX piping (IIRC, PEX is measured different from PVC it may have been 3/4")
