1250pt Tourney Lists - Can't Decide

So, doing my usual thing of sitting at work playing with different Space Wolf list combinations, and I've gotten stuck. With Long Fangs & Rune Priests being the staple choices of most SW lists, I decided to go without both, and see what I could come up with to compete in the local 1250pt Tournaments (Very PA heavy, GKs/BAs/SWs).

I've come up with two that I'm fairly happy with, and will start play-testing against my BA-playing house-mate soon, but I thought I'd see what the Fang thought of them first. As I can't decide between them at the moment.

++ LIST 1 ++

+HQ+

- Wolf Priest [135pt] - Jump Pack, M.Bombs, WTT

+Elites+

- 4 Wolf Guard [212pt] - 2x TDA/Combi-Plas/Chainfist (WGP), 2x TDA/Combi-Melta/Chainfist (WGM)

- Venerable Dreadnought [210pt] - Plasma Cannon, D.Pod

+Troops+

- 5 Grey Hunters [145pt] - WGP1 - Plasma, P.Weap, Wolf.Std, D.Pod

- 5 Grey Hunters [145pt] - WGP2 - Plasma, P.Weap, Wolf.Std, D.Pod

- 5 Grey Hunters [140pt] - WGM1 - Melta, P.Weap, Wolf.Std, D.Pod

- 5 Grey Hunters [140pt] - WGM2 - Melta, P.Weap, Wolf.Std, D.Pod

+Fast Attack+

5 Skyclaws [120pt] - Wolf Priest - P.Fist, Flamer

TOTAL: 1247pt

Very risky list (Part of why I like it), only armour popping is in the squads, and are hit-or-die. Two basic roll-outs;

1) Skyclaws start on-field behind some cover, Dread & both Melta teams drop in the face of the enemy Turn 1 and cause Havoc, Plasma teams drop-n-hold later to secure/contest objectives/quarters

2) Skyclaws start on-field within counter-assault range of both Plasma squads drop points, with the dread dropping either in the enemy lines or between my Plasma teams. Meltas drop later to secure/contest objectives/quarters.

One way to modify this would be to drop the Dread and take 2 Typhoon/M.Melta speeders for a bit more Anti-Tank, and drop the M.Bombs on the Wolf Priest for MotW on the Skyclaws. But I just like the idea of dropping a big, expensive, dangerous looking (and durable) Dread into the enemy lines just to throw a spanner in their battle-plans.

++ LIST 2 ++

+HQ+

Wolf Priest [140pt] - SM.Bike, M.Bombs

+Elites+

4 Wolf Guard [242pt] - 1x SM.Bike/P.Fist/M.Bombs (WGB), 1x TDA/S.Shield/Chainfist (WGT), 2x C.Plas/P.Fist/M.Bombs (WGP)

+Troops+

8 Grey Hunters [215pt] - WGT - Melta, P.Fist, Wolf.Std, MotW, D.Pod

5 Grey Hunters [185pt] - WGP1 - Plasma, P.Weap, Wolf.Std, Razorback with Las/Plas

5 Grey Hunters [185pt] - WGP2 - Plasma, P.Weap, Wolf.Std, Razorback with Las/Plas

+Fast Attack+

3 Swiftclaw Bikers [135pt] - WGB - Flamer, P.Weap, Attack Bike with M.Melta

3 Swiftclaw Bikers [145pt] - Wolf Priest - Flamer, P.Fist, Attack Bike with M.Melta

TOTAL: 1247pt

Razorback teams lock-down their sector(s), disruption team drops in the enemies lines to tie them up and cause as much damage as they can, and the bikes sweep up a flank. Probably Hammer-&-Anvil their defensive line, with the disruption team dropping in on one flank, while the bikes hit the other.

Both lists are something a bit different to the norm I'm likely to see at the tournament, and List 1 at least is a fairly tricky list to work with, and relies heavily on not giving the enemy time to turn their big guns on me. List 2 has some faster moving disruption ability, and more ranged/anti-armour ability.

So what's the verdict of the Fang? Which list do you think I should take to the local tourney for teaching some lessons to the young whelps?
