rpnightsend
So I've tried to keep the characters for my DIY chapter as just characters from C:SM, but I couldnt resist coming up with rules for my own commander. In the fluff he's young and a bit brash, he went from being a Vanguard Veteran Sergeant to a chapter master of a new successor chapter, and he was young for a veteran too, he was selected by Cassius as a tyrannic war vet to fill up the new first company after Macragge. Don't worry about the fluff here I'm working that out on Index Astartes. He's famous for making dramatic (and often risky) entrances and is known for inspiring those around him to fight through insurmountable odds. So here's what I'm looking at: Chapter Master Robert Leerca of the Typhoon Marines 255 Points WS6 BS5 S4 T4 I6 A4 W3 Ld10 Sv 3+ Wargear: Master-Crafted Lightning Claw Combi-Melta Jump Pack Iron Halo Special Rules: Combat Tactics (As C:SM) Heroic Intervention (As Vanguard Veterans) Inspiring Fortitude Inspiring FortitudeLeerca's very presence makes those around him fight all the harder, and he himself will never rest as long as his allies are at his side. As long as Leerca is alive, all allied units (other than Leerca) within 6" of him gain Feel No Pain. Additionally, should Leerca lose his last wound, leave him on the table. If at the beginning of the controlling player's next turn there is an allied unit within 6" of Leerca he may make an unmodified Leadership Check. If this is passed than he returns with 1 wound remaining and may act normally. Note that while Leerca is down from losing his last wound allies near him lose Feel No Pain. Elric the Silvercoat
Whoops. Should be 3. How does he look? 255 seems fair for a Chapter Master with a Feel No Pain bubble and can get back up with one wound. Maybe 4 attacks should be good because alot of Speical Character Captain have 3 basic so I would say 4 Attacks would be up there in making him worth 255 after that I think he is good.
