J!MM!L!C!OUS
Hi Guys, Please excuse the horrific title of this thread, for a moment there I had delusions of humour... I'm looking at getting some new paint brushes and I have an issue with the (low) Quality vs (high) Price of GW brushes. I'm wondering if any of you guys use 3rd party brushes and what advise you can give me about them. Ideally I want to hear about 'detail' and 'standard' equivilent brushes, and if possible, a link to a UK store :) Cheers, Jimmi Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/236935-show-us-yer-brush/ Share on other sites
darth_giles
My bush? Rose, of course. My brushes? I use the basic GW set, plus a few extras- a large and a small flat brush. fivepointedstar
anything golden taklon brush works well with acrylic paints. use fine point size 1-2 for detail rather that the GW ones tend to cone out, and will onlt leave a mess of fine detail. Brush sizes like 3-6 use on covers, and matte paints. and vehicle detail as the brush size has the cone effect to sread paint in broader areas. Hope this helps Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/236935-show-us-yer-brush/#findComment-2856335 Share on other sites
