Is it possible for a 10 man BA terminator squad to take two of each?

 

For every five models in the squad, one Terminator can: 
....
- replace his storm bolter with an assault cannon...
- take a cyclone missle launcher...

 

So, can two terminators in a 10 man squad replace their storm bolters with assault cannons and then take two CMLs as well? Or is it a one or the other type deal?

its options. They may take the cannon OR the Missile Launcher not two of both.

 

Interestingly enough they may be able to take both the ML and the Assault cannon on one model in one go *hmmm*

That's what I'm asking, can a single model take both an assault cannon and a cyclone missile launcher? Technically he doesn't have to replace anything for the missile launcher, as with the assault cannon, it just says a model can take one for 30 points. The codex makes it seem like one model could take both if you wanted it too.

The Cyclone is added and does not replace anything, so if you really want to concentrate your firepower to a needless degree you can put them both on one model. It's not even close to worth it, though, even with the issues of mixing weapon systems aside, because you pretty much always want to Combat Squad a 10man Terminator unit and that prevents you from giving each half a heavy weapon.

Ahh, so if they're both on one model you have to choose which you are going to fire? You couldn't fire both of them the same turn?

Read it through again. Yes could put them both on one model I figure. But the Cyclone is quite specific that it only lets the termie fire his storm bolter too. So yeah one or the other on the model.

 

 

The way you phrased your question gives you an end result of 2 terminators with an assault cannon and CML in one squad. Which is impossible. The choice is one or the other per 5 models.

 

The first five gives you access to one or the other.

5 Move lets you pick again.
