Assassins in Deathwatch

I'm looking to include one of my friend's as a Callidus assassin, and I was wondering if there are already set rules in one of Fantasy Flight Games' books, or am I going to have to set up stats myself.

The plan was I was going to have the assassin disguise itself as a Deathwatch Marine. She'll have modified armor to explain why she has the stats of a Marine and I plan on using the create-a-chapter rules in Rites Of Battle to represent many of the missing organs that can't be represented by secret tech. Most likely I'll just make the callidus disguise herself as a black shield.

The reason I was going to have my friend be a callidus assassin was because she doesn't really like to play much, she likes to watch. So when she does want to play, I can have a cool reason as to why the Inquisitor just sent in another marine to join the squad. Ofcourse the other players won't know she is an assassin, so it will be a cool plot device ;)

As Dylan says, I'm not aware of special rules for the Temple assassins either. Putting a huge amount of XP (the recommended huge amount) onto the DH Assassin turns them into really scary people, though. I played around with the points one time just to see and did so on a starting character, and as long as the player doesn't expose the character to danger (like a good assassin) the damage they could wreak is crazy.

I run Deathwatch on the weekends (in 8 or so hours, actually) and one of my buddies wanted to play a Callidus. The problem we encountered in the very first session is that a Callidus requires almost a whole other game to correctly portray. They are infiltrators in the sense that they infiltrate and replace. Their subtle touch is often lost in the storm of violence that follows Deathwatch marines everywhere they go.

After nearly getting killed several times while dressed/shaped as one of the enemy, the player had had it and decided to go with a Vindicare instead and the Vindicare complements the deathwatch marines extraordinarily well, placing well-timed shots to interrupt enemy actions and section off the battlefield. All this while taking out Masters and Elites as they try to direct hordes so that the kill team doesn't have to fight everything all at once.

He's still an assassin, his stealth and reconnaissance skills are very useful to the normally loud marines so that they can tactically enter a room with some idea of what they're facing with overwatch already in place.

The other assassin types are all ill-fitted for such a role. The Callidus is a solo character, the Eversor has little room for character growth and the Cullexus.. well, I don't think anyone wants to play one of those.
