Vexicus
Hail Brothers, If I was to place a squad behind a tank and move the tank up with the squad blocking my enemies LoS to the squad, would my squad be abe to fire at the enemy or would the tank block my LoS too? Thanks Vex Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237130-tank-walls/ Share on other sites
greatcrusade08
5th edition works around true line of sight, generally speaking if an eneny cant see you, then you cant see them.. but all you need to see is an arm or leg and you can fire at them Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237130-tank-walls/#findComment-2859236 Share on other sites
SeattleDV8
That depends ....can the models i the Unit 'see' the target ... that is does the models have LOS from the 'eyes' of the model to the target unit they are firing at? Frosty the Pyro
True line of sight is true line of sight, just remember if they can draw a line from their eyes to so much as a toe or finger of one of your models, they may shoot the unit (you will get a cover save of course though), and vice versa. BOBMAKENZIE
In a similar query where do you draw the line for something like an Infantry wall. Presumably with some careful placement you could block off a squad behind a few model thick infantry wall. BUT this is much harder to check through and determine. Is there a direct way to deal with this? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237130-tank-walls/#findComment-2860787 Share on other sites

If you see the light on the target you can shoot at it. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237130-tank-walls/#findComment-2860849 Share on other sites
