Glitch85
Do 5th Company have to have the black trim on the shoulder pads?? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237146-5th-company/ Share on other sites
AustonT
Kinda depends on what GW scheme you follow. There's one with red trim, one with black. If you are asking in the "codex" sense with all the goofy colors the smurfs use: no. Seleucus
Blood Angels do not use different coloured trim to their shoulder pads, instead, the blood drop(s) on the right pad are coloured: 1st Co.: a white skull 2nd Co.: 1 yellow blood drop 3rd Co.: 1 white blood drop 4th Co.: 1 green blood drop 5th Co.: 1 black blood drop 6th Co.: 2 yellow blood drops 7th Co.: 2 white blood drops 8th Co.: 2 green blood drops 9th Co.: 2 black blood drops 10th Co. (scouts): 1 red blood drop inside a black circle Currently, trims for all BA co.s are painted red, the same as the rest of the armour. In the past, GW used to paint the trims for all BA co.s black, and some people still prefer this, especially as it gives an obvious contrast to sergeants with their black pads with red trim. AustonT
boo hiss, black rims just look better to me because they add some contrast to the model. total PITA to clean up red over black if you miss though.
