rusty1109 Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 Hi all, I have been using a 10 man tactical terminator squad recently with mixed results. The main problems I have been having is stopping enemy close combat specialists from getting the charge on my guys, they rarely survive these encounters above half strength (not surprisingly!). It usually happens against dark eldar with their portal things and against regular eldar with those transporting tanks that can be a pain to shoot down! They also got owned by a grey knight's close combat squad (arco flagellents or something?) jumping out of a storm raven, I'll be staying more than 18" away from his board edge next time! Any advice on how to make sure my guys get the charge on them (and crucially the one turn of storm bolter fire!) rather than the other way round. That said they always hit back hard against these units and effectively stop them in their tracks, allowing the rest of my army to shoot them to death!
