i wanted to try one of the fincast models so i decided id get this guy. i dont really like the normal silver grey knights so i decided i want like a dirty metal/goldish look.

so i came up with this and i think it turned out better than i thought it would be.I still got to do some weathering on hios armor and paint the rest of him.

Haven't been able to do much on this guy cause i've been busy with school and work but i did manage to get the cape finished. I have to cleanup the armor cause i got some baal red on it in some places. here are a few pics. the light was kinda bright in some places so sorry if its kinda tough on the eyes.

How did you achieve that metallic colour, if you don't mind sharing your recipe? I may try that out, as it looks great

I first base coated in boltgun metal, then i highlighted where the light hits with mithrill silver, after that i washed all the silvers in gryphonne sepia. To make touch ups if u make a mistake i take a drop of boltgun metal and add gryphonne sepia to it till i get the right color then i add water to the mix, u may not have to add water cause the wash already thins the mix but i find that without it, the wash wants to separate from the boltgun metal.
